Sympathy For the Devil
So over the last few days I’ve been searching for old school video games. I’m talking Duck Hunt, Mario, and Techmo Bowl type stuff. KEY facets of my childhood development. Anyway, I’m trying to round out my collection, but it seems not to many retail outlets share my love of the past. (Xbox 360 looks dumb) I hate scary movies. I get scared very easily. So, why you ask,...

Automated Teller Machine Machines
I actually can’t wait to get back to school, aside from the whole school part anyway. These winter breaks are cool, but they aren’t as exciting as they were freshman year, when everyone was back from college for the first time etc. This one really has flown by though, I guess that was because I had a job. Haha, i went into the tailor today to rent a tux and the guy responded to all...

Breaks
‘Basically nothing has changed,” she explained “We’re so happy you’re home again You take the winter, get back on your feet Your bed has been made Your father washed the sheets for you” So we talked awhile about all my woes The smile’s worse than “I told you so’s” And she said to wash up and get to bed I knew the freedom I had learned...

The Grinch Stole (the week before) Christmas
It always seems to me like there is a week before Christmas that just disappaers . One minute you have three weeks to do your holiday shopping, then, all of a sudden, you have one. No explanation. I think we are all being duped out of one week of the year. Then again, I suppose the arguement could be made that one week is mysteriously added during finals time, so I guess it evens itself out. ...

Something Routine About It
OK taking a risk here, I don’t usually stay up too late when I have to work the next day. Looks like we’ll see tomorrow if this is a viable option for the future. I just really am not satisfied going to bed at 11 or 12 at night. There just isn’t enough time. BUT. See really, there is enough time. People always saaay there isn’t in passing like, “I wish I had...

The Need for Speed (not the drug...)
OK the internet needs to be waaay faster. REALLY. man I hate waiting. for some reason it doesn’t bother me anywhere else, super-market, airplane, doctor’s, anywhere I dont mind. but i hate waiting for the internet. FASTER. “i feel the need, the need for speed.” haha that would be a great AD campaign, just insert that scene from Top-Gun, any guy born in the 80’s...

"The World Is Fat"... i mean flat
so apparently, while i was gone, this “March of the Penguins” movie became quite a hit. I was baffled to find it missing from the video store every time i tried to rent it. i thought to myself, “a movie about animals…sold out? multiple copies? impossible!” but then, i was informed that it was the “thing” sometime a wee while ago. so that explains...

POOF!
It snowed last night! Maybe around 1 inch…all on the ground, none on the roads. Which normally would be very distressing, but since I’m no longer in elementry school, I could care less. It just makes everything look cooler. 8 hours of work today, could be tough, but I got 8 hours of sleep last night so hopefully that should balance things out. Snow does not make work look cooler,...

Excitement and Exhaustion
Two things: First, I just got a new job for the winter break (my super-extended version) at a book/record shop in Bethesda. It’s actually pretty cool, I just sell books and CD’s to lots of old people, I guess since all the kids are at school etc. Either way it’s very chill and it’s always good to make some moneys i suppose. Second, and more importantly…I am going...
