I love having 5$ bills. 10’s are pretty sweet too. The problem is that I love them a little too much and never want to spend them. Which is weird… cause the reason why I love them is because it makes purchases so much easier (think group dinner bills). So it doesn’t really make any sense to have them and not use them.. Side note: I sang karaoke last night. First time for...

Who did you think i was?
Done with school. As in College. Hasn’t hit me yet… so I’m hoping to read this post later in the week and get the full effect. Anyway, big time party tonight. (I know it’s Sunday… but Chapel Hill doesn’t know that)
Something about that voice..
Thomas Dybdahl. This guy is crazy. Every album is great, every video is fantastic, and his voice - wow. Range, power, control and just so CRISP. Not summer music… more like ‘in from the cold’ type.. but whatever, break me off a slice of winter. His Website.
Typical Situation
Would you rather be invisible or be able to fly? The original “would you rather” question, supposedly referring to the two most desired impossible ‘powers”. Those two are OK I guess, but I want to throw a third into the mix: Being able to remove your “self” from the self-evaulation process. No matter what you do, when you are evaluating a piece of work that...
Title and Registration
In a lot of ways, I have no idea what is going on. This sounds troubling at first, but recently I’ve come to appreciate that feeling. It’s a strange awareness that is counter-intuitively comforting. .
We are nowhere and it is now
I think it would eventually get pretty awkward to be a pilot on a long transcontinental flight. Think about it. You are sitting next to another pilot for 8 hours, a guy you don’t know very well, and all you have in common is your profession. This can actually probably provide a few hours of conversation, but I assume it gets old after a while. Then all you are left with is cocktail hour...
Still Raining, Still Dreaming
It’s kind of scary how often I make assumptions about friction. Like just now for example, I ran down the stairs, full speed, assuming that the friction on the stairs was going to be the same as it was yesterday. Naturally it was, but it doesn’t take much for it to change, and little changes in frictions can make a huge difference! A friendly reminder. I just had the best classroom...
My Favorite Worst Nightmare
Is April supposed to be this profoundly strange every year? For some reason most months go by with a normal amount of strangeness… except April. It’s always pulling out some weird tricks and surprises…
The Everwhat
My allergies caught me by surprise. They shouldn’t have, since they come at about the same time every year, but that’s the kicker… they come at ALMOST the exact same time every year. They seem to wait one extra week each year, just long enough for me to think “hey! maybe I won’t get them this year!” Then BOOM. It’s funny not knowing who reads your...
Live from Nasher
So I’m currently sitting in an art exhibit… about to play a show…in 2 hours. This is officially boring. I like having all of our stuff set up before we play, but 2 hours is a little excessive. Anyway, maybe there will be some free seltzer water! On site blogging ability is pretty neat though, don’t think I’ve had that at any show. Maybe I’ll do periodic...
Heliocentric
So I was just reading about Antioxidants on the back of my cereal box. I read a whole paragraph on why Antioxidants are supposedly good for me and learned absolutely nothing about what they actually do. Sentences like “Antioxidants help aid in immune system support and make a healthy heart…” What does that mean? How? Why? Where is the evidence? I want a diagram showing...
