Title Optional
I’ve just fallen asleep watching a movie. (obviously now woken up) It’s 4:30pm. The day is about half over.

Node
Do you know about lymph nodes? My roommate describes them as army barracks for your body. Apparently they are pretty awesome. One of mine has taken on more soldiers than it can accommodate and is making its presence known. It is irritating, but also conjures a pretty cool image of lots of white blood cells gearing up for battle. What they are battling appears to be a soar throat, and Mr.Doctor...
Busy but it feels so good
I used to hate busy. I avoided it with clever uses of television and fruit smoothies. Now I welcome it, offer it strawberry milkshakes, and expect a long and happy relationship to follow.

New Look
So, as you can see, this blog now looks a touch different. The address has also changed, but hopefully those of you visiting the old site have just been redirected here anyway. I decided to change for a few reasons, but mainly because it’s easier to post on the “go” with Tumblr. Since I find myself frequently on the “go”, I thought this would encourage me to post more...
A Semester Begins
The hours between 9pm and 3am go WAY faster than the hours between 9am and 3pm. FACT.

Life or Death and WebMD
Sites like WebMD are officially useless. Whenever I go there to check some suspicious symptoms or unusual bodily occurances, the diagnosis is always either fatal OR benign. Small lump in your neck? Cancer. OR irratated lymphnode which will subside in a few days. I’ve never logged on and not thought I was about to die.
MUNI Troubles
I will often eat my headphone cord by accident when eating a bagel. It is unpleasant.
Send me Forth
This is a test of my mobile posting ability. I appear to be quite good at it.

Speaking of Tigers...
As I mentioned, I love Tiger Lou. This is my cover of their song “Functions”.
Tiger Lou
I have never met anyone else that know about Tiger Lou, which is very sad to me because they are one of my favorites. Amazing! Their new album is taking some getting used to, but their old stuff will remain permanently lodged in my top 10. Listen to “Functions” or “The Loyal” to get an idea of what we’re dealing with.
The Sixty One
I don’t really know what this site is, but you can listen/download some of my music there. Check it out, if you feel so inclined. Funny story about the phrase “if you feel so inclined.” I once asked a girl to dinner, randomly on the street in NYC, and I ended my little request with that phrase. It was wonderfully awkward. I felt like Woody Allen.
Magical Melodies of Fall Out Boy - Folie a Deux
Fall Out Boy is a new interest of mine. I know very little about them, know only a few songs from their past, and rarely listen to their type of music. I purchased their new album because I liked the cover art and I have been surprised to find some incredible stuff recorded inside. Almost every song on the album, save one, has a fascinating melody at work and I can’t stop listening to it....

Hawaii - Day Eight
Hawaii - Day Seven
Hawaii - Day Six
Today we visited a volcano. I have never visited a volcano before. On paper, this sounds like a scary idea, but in person it was actually quite pleasant. After a little road trip to the other side of Maui, we did a hike down into the Haleakala crater. The crater pretty much looks exactly like Mars, and absolutely nothing like Hawaii. It was very cold, and was situated at about 10,000 feet above...
Hawaii - Day Five
Day five already. Today was a beach day, plain and simple. I tried numerous different strategies for de-sanding my towel without sanding innocent bystanders. None proved successful. We also did some ocean swimming while waiting for the sun. Eventually, this beach situation turned into a Happy Hour (which is always longer than an hour…) where we watched for whales and tried local drafts. The...
Hawaii - Day Four
Happy New Year! Last night was much fun, and was my second official New Year in Hawaii. They do it right here. We started the evening with some excellent Thai food, recommended by Gill, at a place called Thai Chef. I was unadventurous and got pineapple rice. After dinner we did the Front Street bar circuit and stopped by three places before locking down at Oyster Bar for midnight. I fell in love...
