Design Portfolio
If you click the link below you will be redirected to my current design portfolio. Some things are missing, but that’s a decent start. Keep an eye out for the next issue of STEP; my Pantone Palette Cleanser poster was chose as one of the 100 Best Designs of 2008.

Don't waste time, or time will waste you
How amazing would it be if everything were open 24 hours? For example, right now I have set my alarm for 8am tomorrow morning. This is unusual. I have to make it downtown to the printer/binder before work and there is no other time but 9am to do this. Of course this is no big deal, but I’m awake now. I would love it if one day I could do all of my errands around this time of night...
Bored in the Library
What am I doing here? I haven’t been inside a library in years. It looks the same. It’s slower than the Internet. I found some books of 80’s stock photography, that was pretty cool. There doesn’t see to be much difference between a library and a Borders anymore…I don’t buy books at either place. I am listening to Various Artists.
On a nothing day
Been watching a lot of Wes Anderson documentary stuff recently. He’s such an interesting guy. I love seeing someone that involved with absolutely every aspect of their work. Every time I come upstairs after watching something, I feel crazy inspired. This usually translates to me sitting at my desk going, “whoa. I feel inspired.” Then doing nothing. It’s actually a pretty...
Ugh vs Cool
Oh I am under the weather. That was literally true earlier today, now it’s just continued in an analogous sort of way. As in I’m sick. Well, probably not, but I am at least congested from all the altitude changes I’ve been experiencing. Something about these ups and downs also caused me to lose all motivation to work tonight and watch The Office. What fun to watch others avoid...
Snow and Ice
I’m in Tahoe right now expecting another day of 12+inches of snow. I remember when the news of snow coming down in feet was the best possible thing I could hear. It probably happened once, maybe twice, when I was kid, but those were very exciting times. Now, I don’t see snowballs, sleds, and forts when I look outside, instead I see a delayed departure time, wet socks, and potential...

ISO50 - Alex Cornell
I’ve been working for Scott Hansen, at his studio here in San Francisco, for almost a year now. It’s been amazing, and I consider myself very lucky to be working with such an inspiring creative. I’ve just been brought on as a contributor to the blog (very exciting!) and I’ll be posting over there (and here) from now on. The blog is about design, music, pretty much...
Dropular Page
If you’re familiar with FFFFound, Dropular will make perfect sense to you. If you don’t know FFFFound, then you will be confused. Basically it’s an image bookmarking site. Find a cool image, bookmark it on Dropular. Etc. My Dropular page, where I’ll be “dropping” cool things on the interent that I find is:

Sunday is for Crepes
I’m on the bus and it’s raining. The bus cables over the street look like spider webs. Why do people get on only to get off one stop later? Why do the bus drivers never look at my bus pass? I wonder if the drivers prefer a crowded bus or an empty one. The latter seems like it would be better overall, but perhaps a little discouraging. I prefer an empty bus in all cases.
Then there was my iPhone camera
It is 2 megapixels and is in a constant state of blur. For example, the bubble tea menu I just posted a photo of. In the picture, you can’t see anything! No bubble tea. In real life it was fantastic and overwhelming. I hoped the iPhone would carry this through and I was wrong. I apologize. One day I will have a camera that is capable of capturing the true power of the large bubble tea menu.
Work Week
My iCal is starting to look all colourful again. The semester has definitely started. I feel quite productive right now, which is unusual for a Tuesday, so things are looking up. My mood has become forever tied to my “output”, so I have to make sure to maintain some level of productivity for the sake of those around me.
Love will tear us apart
Drat. My efforts to not work at all this weekend have come to a screeching halt.
