Portrait Tricksiness
I think my favorite type of portrait shot is one of two people where one is posing and the other one isn’t. As if one person isn’t aware the camera is about to go off. Sartorialist Book
Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist just made his new book available for purchase. Psyched about this, make sure to check out the limited edition too. Comes out August 12th.
“Sartorialist” is one of those words I don’t think I have ever actually spoken. I read it everywhere, pronounce it in my head etc, but I have never uttered it aloud.

I wrote a short update on my MFA progress on ISO50. Summer is definitely in full swing work wise; I think I have more work in the summer than I ever do in the fall/winter.

Pretty excited about District 9. Could be amazing, but it also has the potential to be unbelievably terrible. I enjoyed the short film that the feature is based on; it’s the first movie above if you’re interested.
