Boring = Exciting

It seems that my present self is attempting to screw over my future self. I say this because of some of the decisions i make. Not decisions like doing herione and then trying to fly an airplane or anything, slightly more subdued things. Like for example, I have a paper due on friday. Today is wednesday and i could begin it now and have a nice three days to complete it. Or i could wait until late thursday night to do it, which would suck. But since my present self doesnt have to deal with it, i decide to take the thursday way out and make things tough on my future self. i’m sure we all do that to some extent, but it seems lately like I do it almost to make things more interesting. Like… will i be able to do my laundry, do my reading, eat breakfast and take a shower all in half an hour? Aside from ryhming, that last sentence crosses my mind quite frequently in many different variations almost every day. I guess it’s a way of making things that are normally pretty boring actually rather exciting. Taking a shower while eating cereal is not only very difficult, but much more fun than just shampooing yourself like normal. So i say try it! Wait until the last minute to do everything everyonce in a while and see how much fun it can be! You don”t normally expect to get a rush of adrenaline while making poridge do you? I’m sure most of us don’t….and most likely most people reading this are wondering why i just referred to oatmeal as poridge…that would be because i am living in New Zealand and that’s just how it is, not my fault. I also now drink tea. That’s right. English Breakfast forever

Music Suggestions—->
-Travis “The Man Who” These guys have been around for a while, but it’s almost absurd how few people from the U.S have heard of these guys. If you like Coldplay you are bound to eat this album up. Especially tracks like “Driftwood” or “Writing to Reach You”

-Cities of Foam “A great day for the race” This album is awesome. However, it is only awesome if you like ambient type music. It’s not like some electronic nonsense that can often get classified as ambient…but it isn’t your standard pop radio hit biz either. With most tracks clocking in at around 5:30min radio stations won’t touch it. Anyway, check out “Picking up tin cans” or “Last man standing” great chill out music… or if you find yourself riding on a train, it’s perfect. trust me
