Blog is a silly word
So my last few attempts at cooking for the five people that live in my house have been rather misrable. Here’s the thing, i could easily make something simple like beans and pasta every night…but where’s the fun in that? (and perhaps not the most nutritionaly viable option) so i try to make all sorts of different things, most of which end up tasting, well, let’s just say it’s a good thing if they even have any taste. My last try at rice almost went up in flames…how that’s possible i have no idea. in other news… it’s getting warmer down here in NZ, as it gets colder back at home. im still getting used to the fact that october means spring/summer and not fall/winter. and of course byt the time i get used to that, i will be back at home where it’s all swtiched around again. i think they should have different names for the monthes here, so my existing connotations with the monthes wouldnt be jeapordized. but alas, some things i can change some i cant. i guess that does it for this post, still getting used to the whole blog thing. i think the reason i started in the first place was because i thought the word sounded funny. blog. blog. blog.
