Dear Alex in the Future…
So I’ve seen some interesting things in the past 20 mintues. One being, that ducks sleep with their heads backwards. I think that’s awesome, not to mention a bit odd looking. If you have never seen it, try to find a duck…asleep. Also, i read an interesting article about time travel. I think I, like most people, believe that time travel would be pretty cool if it were possible, but believe that it won’t ever be at least in our lifetime. Also, that it would be most likely pretty dangerous in some end-of-the-world type way if things got all messed up and switched around in the past or future. But the article i read was saying that some guy at some think tank/ university (don’t remember who..) did a simple expierement to test if time travel was possible. Basically, he invited anyone in the future to come visit him (and a bunch of on lookers) in the past. So, for example, here i am in the present. If i say to myself, “if time travel is possible, then come back and tell me when you get there in the future.” If no one comes when i ask, then it must not be possible. But, this was much more offcial, something that people in the future would have been much more likely to remember. But no one came. So they declared time travel must not be possible….OR, and this is where it gets interesting. Maybe there is some cataclysmic event in the future that prevents us from ever reaching the point of time travel. or maybe the time travel itself ends up destroying the world. or maybe people in the future no better than to go time travelling about without a whim. who knows. but i thought that was cool
