Back on the Ground

Soooo back from Mooloolaba, back to exams. I had a great lighting storm the day before i left. It came right over the town and then out to sea. It was amazing to see the lighting over the ocean like that, well worth the monsoon-amount of rain. I filmed all of it pretty much (with an elaborate umbrella/raincoat/camera set up) and made a movie about it.

Exams are stupid i think. but that’s just the third grader in me complaining. i also don’t like sand fly bites. that is the 20year old in me. I also no longer like Buddhism. I took it cause i thought i would be into it, but i actually don’t agree with it (or find it coherent) at all. I think it’s too close to Nihilism. Though they are quick to refute it, I can never understand the Buddhist counter-arguments against nihilism. maybe that’s just my own ignorance, but i dont think they know what they are talking about. then again who does really. maybe it was the airplane trip, or the stale apple i just ate, but i am currently very bitter. no more writing .
