Automated Teller Machine Machines
I actually can’t wait to get back to school, aside from the whole school part anyway. These winter breaks are cool, but they aren’t as exciting as they were freshman year, when everyone was back from college for the first time etc. This one really has flown by though, I guess that was because I had a job. Haha, i went into the tailor today to rent a tux and the guy responded to all my questions with
(in broken english) : “No too tall! Your body not like the tuxedo!”. That was awesome. Needless to say I had to get a pretty standard one and not the badass looking one that the guy in the window was wearing.
One thing I don’t think I’ll ever understand is how I can use an ATM at the bottom of the world and get money in less than 10 seconds when my bank 2 oceans and one hemisphere away. I can sort of understand radio waves, toaster ovens, lawn mowers, pancakes, but ATM’s I don’t get.
