I am away from my computer right now. (doubtful)
What would be a great genre of music? Hip hop mixed with electronica and folk music. That would be so bad ass it’s not even funny. Anyway, I have recently discovered the wonderful magical world of MP3 blogs, increasing my music consumption to astronomical levels. And now with the Great Hall no longer serving brunch, the word ‘consume’ is almost solely used for music. I do occasionally consume food, but mostly just music these days. “Summer Jets” by Iain Archer is probably the best thing I have found in the last couple days. Either that or some of the crazy Coldplay remixes (sounds lame i know but they are amazing)
The funny thing about school these days is how things that should be really easy are very difficult and things that should be hard are simple as tea. Maybe you know what I mean and I don’t need to give examples. I love it when that happens: when someone makes some outrageous claim without any evidence, but everyone sort of just knows what they say to be true and accepts it. Or when philosophy teachers say anything and no one accepts it to be true. Well, just kidding since I’m a philosophy minor…but I think we all know that the discipline is slightly messed up. Any class that starts off with “OK so none of this actually works or makes any sense…but if it did then what would happen?” is obviously flawed somehow.
I love away messages. Really. So does everyone on my buddy list it seems, since at any given time maybe 5% of people are actually available. So you would think people would get at least a little creative, you don’t need to type “away” the very fact that you are away does that for you. “Oh look let me talk to this person, oh no! their AWAY message says they are “away”! they must not be there! Something is amiss! ” blah blah who cares it’s AIM i know, but I still can think it’s silly.
