Ah Reading Period
-It’s very weird for it to already be the end of the semester. There are a lot of people I feel like I really haven’t seen all that much of. I always assumed “oh yeah I’ll see them next weekend whatever.” Of course, now next weekend is in Myrtle and the one after that is at home…so so much for that plan. I just thought I had more time. At least I can still say “next year.” When it actually does become next year and I no longer have that projection capability it’s going to be very scary.
-I really like having most of what I have to do during the week all crammed into one day. My reasoning for this is because, pretty much no matter what happens, I can say with confidence that everything WILL be done by the end of today. So if things are getting really stressful etc, all I have to do is think of the end of the day when it will surely all be finished.
-Punctuation Mark Battle for Coolness-
First Place —> &
Second Place—> ?
Third Place—> !
It was a surprise victory for the “and” symbol, but it’s uniqueness and frequent under-appreciation took it all the way. The question and exclamation mark fell victim to over-saturation and were not able to accrue enough votes to overtake the &.
The ‘period’ and ‘comma’ rounded out the top 5. Full voting results can be seen on CNN.com.
