Amazing Fantastic
Yes! Finally, back to the world of random random random!
-So, I’ve moved to New York City. I think that is pretty awesome.
Some initial thoughts:
-First, my room is amazing. Anyone staying in New York has to come check it out. There is a crazy guy that lives in the building across from me that dances some wacky dance every day. It is amazing fantastic.
-Riding the Downtown subway will in fact NOT take you Uptown.
-Staring up at the buildings will successfully accomplish two things: 1) Peg you as a tourist, or not a local. 2) Inevitably create a small pedestrian traffic accident, immediately followed by a verbal obscenity showcase.
-Central park is bad ass. Apparently there is a huge body of water in the middle. How it got there is a mystery to me. (Not to anyone else..)
-I’m still on my city-a-day state of mind from my Europe excursion last year and I’m having a hard time taking some time for relaxation. I really need to realize that I’m here for 3 months and not 3 days.
-I bought 5 concert tickets yesterday. I love NYC. (and I hate Durham)
-Paninis are everywhere in this city and I love it. PAX has the best.
OK so I haven’t really written in this for a while so I’m a bit out of practice. The next post will be better than anything you have ever known. Get ready.
