Rant and Rave
July 4th. Overall, I’d say that D.C can rock a firework show better than anywhere else in the world. NYC loses out because of A) no ‘grand’ finale and B) too short. It was pretty awesome none the less, they seem to really have perfected the 3D firework. It’s also worth noting that after the show was probably the hungriest I have ever been.*
Also worth mentioning: I don’t people that “prep” to get off the subway way before the train stops. I don;t really feel like qualifying that thought…but maybe you know what I’m talking about.
Another thing. The reason why I don’t go to Blockbuster is not because of a fear of late fees. Doing away with late fees seems to be an utterly useless attempt to keep up with Netflix. I mean, WHY do they still even bother writing “2-day rental” if it clearly doesn’t matter anymore? The whole thing is a mess.
On this slightly bitter rant I seem to be riding I just want to throw this in there… the reason for declining music sales is not because of illegal downloading, it’s because of crappy music.
Yikes if you have made it this far you have put up with some serious Alex-Complaining. I’m usually not this bad! So to finish off, let me talk about something awesome. I bought a fantastic swimsuit, and let me say that I’m not normally one to be excited by garments of any sort, but this one is beyond cool. I’ll leave it up to you to spot it, but let me say it does have some little birdies on it, and that’s what makes it so exceptional. Booyah
