Let’s Throw A Search Party
So some random things…
Did you know that Coldplay’s name was originally thought of by the piano player for Keane? What!!? I think that’s a crazy thing, almost as crazy as the fact that Coldplay’s original name was “Starfish.”
I always thought it would be fun to be an individual performer but go as a “band name” instead of just your normal name. Some good examples are Bright Eyes, Magnet, or maybe Aqualung. Anyway, I think that’s pretty awesome, and I wonder if people actually start calling you that. “Hey Magnet, want to grab some food later?” I don’t really know what I’d want to call myself though, coming up with a name is one of the hardest things you can try and do.
I saw Heidi Klum the other day at the French place I was eating, then I saw a guy from the Real World yesterday in Chelsea. Anyway I thought it was weird that I haven’t seen any famous people until now, and now all of a sudden I see two really fast in a row. (That was a a grammatically correct sentence.)
It’s almost time to go home. I remember writing that when I was in New Zealand. I wonder where and when the next time I’ll write that will be. I’m hoping: Japan, Morocco, Spain, Iceland, or maybe Tibet.
