I hate breaking guitar strings. Then again, there aren’t many things I like breaking. I’ve never broken a truce before, that could be fun, but only if it involved water balloons.

I had a really great day today, just one of those perfect days. My favorite part of the morning was spent in a sweltering cafe in the east village reading a book by British graffiti artist Banksy. Accompanied by a fantastic apple cinnamon muffin, I was ready to explore parts of downtown I hadn’t been before. I met a cool guy at ALIFE who gave me some free stickers, which is always cool right? I wanted some pink ink, but they didn’t have any. Boo

I saw Damien Rice and Fiona Apple last night at Central Park which was very entertaining. Damien was great, which I assumed, and I really liked all of the new songs. He has tremendous energy on stage, I would highly recommend seeing him live if you can. As for Fiona, I’m not the biggest fan anyway, and last night didn’t really help her cause. She is just too… weird. I figured she would be very strange sure, but not in the almost child-like way that she was. I always thought she would be very dark, mysterious, and bizarre, but not so giddy and sparatic. She definitely seems like the kind of girl that would make out with you then kick you in the shin, though I’m not sure that observation can be proven.
