School Yard Trash Talk
First, let it be said, that I am no longer in the New York. I have become a Bethesdian once again. It’s pretty nice though, they don’t have pools in NYC so I’m loving life right now. Definitely getting psyched about this semester, our apartment is going to be better than yours.
I hate digital watches, just putting that out there. I need to be able to feeeel what time it is by looking at my analog. An analog watch looks likes it itself knows what time it is, it doesn’t just deliver the message. Digital watches are for the people that skipped 4th grade because it was too crowded, not because they were just that smart. Analog watches could rob a bank if they wanted to and never hear a word about it from the fuzz. Digital watches look like somene tried to eat a calculator and then glued it to their wrist because they wanted to save some for later. Analog watches can go to dinner parties, digital watches can go to eleven-year-old birthday parties. Digital watches have alarm clocks, and analog watches have owners that don’t rely on beeping technology. Analog watches sometimes don’t even need numbers, and digital watches don’t even have hands.
Anyway, today was a sad day because I lost my favorite analog watch to its long bout with humidity. Long ago, in the Aegean Sea, Alex’s watch took an unfortunate dive deeper than the 5ft water resistant limit. Anyway, after 1 year of loyally, and mistily delivering the time, this Timex watch is no longer. Tomorrow I will search for a replacement, and try to steal a few digital batteries while I’m at it. Slowly making the world a better, and more analog place.
Posts might be hard to come by this next two weeks, given the fact I am at home and have more than enough time to post. (I find I post best when extremely stressed out) Be ready for AlexBlog super power zone coming this September…
