Erroneous! Erroneous on both counts!
Why the World is About to End? Start? What?
-Do you type without looking? I don’t, but I suspect most people do by now. Anyway, I saw a girl today write with a pencil without looking and it made perfect sense. Why don’t more people do this? I suppose because it’s hard to stay on the lines, but it seems way more natural a motion than punching little semi-squares.
-I wonder where they keep the clock (or I guess computer..boring) that controls my cell phone’s clock. We can go ahead and call it the MASTER CLOCK. Anyway, it would be great if you could find it and tamper with it to make each second actually only last about .7ths of a second. That way, time would progress at a slightly faster rate according to most people’s cellphones. I think it would take people a few days to realize this. It would probably (read: definitely) throw things way out of wack.
-I always think it’s interesting how people use movie quotes in everyday conversation. Of the many ways, my favorite is when someone will quote a movie and not call any attention to it. Makes it especially satisfying when you recognize the movie.
Smiley faces in phone texts are a life-saver. I used to have a huge problem not sounding really sarcastic all the time when texting. I never had that problem with AIM because I could type a lot more and explain myself. But when texting, a sentence like: “Yeah no it’s totally fine, I don’t mind at all, just call me later.” could be read with a lot of sarcasm if you didn’t have any intonational clues. BUT put a smiley face on the end, and everything is magically not sarcastic. “yeah no it’s totally fine, I don’t mind at all, just call me later :-)” Beautiful!
-I want to own an apartment and I want to paint the walls dark teal. Then I want to distress the paint job to look like the walls have been in “use” for over 50 years. I think this would look awesome. Seriously. If you think I’m kidding, watch “Mr and Mrs Smith” (it was on HBO ok I didn’t choooose to watch it) and look at the walls in the hotel scene near the beginning.
-My computer has crashed. Again. It’s kind of funny, because when it does, I know it by the sound of a small jet-plane taking off from within my computer. Somewhat disconcerting sound to hear while brushing my teeth in the next room. Anyway, this sucks and I probably won’t be able to post again until next week Tuesday-ish. If they can’t retrieve my files then I will move to Spain and lament the loss of my 10,000 songs for the next 100 years. (But then again, I have it backed up so maybe I’d just move to Spain and forget the lamenting…)
