I find that my interests are very cyclical. Music is consistent, but besides that, I’m always dabbling in something each year. Sophomore year I got really really into film, junior year I got really really into making techno, and this year I’m really into graphic design. I’m not saying this is bad, I just think it’s interesting how predicable the shifts are. By the end of college I will have amassed a very large amount of somewhat bizarre skills…
I don’t do lists anymore… so here’s a throwback:
Chris Cornell is my favorite singer. John Mayer is my favorite overall artist.
Raspberries are by far my favorite fruit.
Fall is probably the best season…but the summer wins half the time.
Modern Amusement makes the best clothes.
Green tea is the only tea for me.
Dark Chocolate (60% cocoa and above) is the only way to fly
Banksy has inspired me the most so far this year.
I want to go to Japan more than anywhere else right now.
I wear necklaces to make boring t-shirts look better.
I can’t remember the last time I was remotely stressed out by school.
Wow random list huh… but what else are you going to do on a random thursday night when Joshua Redman comes on the iPod….
I think I might make another TV show. I made 3 episodes my sophomore year, now it’s finally time for the 4th. I’ll put them up on http://www.alexcornell.com when they are done. (that website works now only on Macs… don’t know why)
Have you ever written a blog? I want to read someone else’s blog, I’m getting tired of writing mine so I want to read something new. I’m not like tired and going to stop, I just feel like there must be at least one other one out there.
