How to Blow up Your Neighbor’s Planet

I love mix CDs because there are no preconceived feelings about thew stuff that’s on them. (assuming you haven’t heard of any of the stuff) Like, I won’t like ANYthing i hear on country radio… but that’s mostly just because I know it’s country music on country radio. If someone plays me the same country song out of context, on a mix CD for example, I might like it. This is bullshit, because how could I like the song in one setting and not in another? Public validation (or invalidation) is so huge when it comes to our tastes it’s remarkable. We don’t have as much control over what we like as we think we do. (that or we have too much…)

Cars that beep when you lock them are SLIGHTLY less stupid than cell phones that beep as you turn them down to silent.

Fall is a much more romantic time to me than spring. I never really got spring… I mean it’s cool I guess, but fall is the ULTIMATE transition season.
