All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Ahhh OK I guess I’ll write a new post. I haven’t really “typed” for a while, so this is all sort of new to me. I’m mainly into renting movies these days, not so much into the whole computer thing. Most recently rented and watched: The Last Kiss. Good one, and no it’s not a chick flic so leave me alone.
Something I have completely neglected while writing this blog is roller shoes. Not roller blades or skates, I’m talking about the kids shoes that have the wheels built into the bottom of them so they can roll around whenever they feel like it. How ridiculous are these! I happen to think they are amazing, despite their absurdity. I love seeing kids catapult through the mall on their little roller shoes… sort of reminds me of those beeping carts that transport handicapped people in airports. Not sure why, though it might have something to do with the frequency to which they crash into us walking pedestrians.
Here’s a new game. How to make a crappy photo look like a NYU art student’s weekend art homework.
1. Find a crappy photo
2. Turn it into black and white. This is the most important step, works almost immediately.
3. Hike up the contrast and give the photo a color tint.
4. Crop in some ridiculous way that allows the subject to become shapes! How exciting!
5. Maybe drag it through the mud, scratch it up some. Make it look crappy, again, but this time in a “cool” way.
There you have it! Now you can apply to photography school and win a prize!
