Poppycock
So one of my teachers today said the following in response to a question of mine:
“There are no new ideas” (as far as design goes)
The class just moved on after this but I couldn’t. NO new ideas? Are you serious? I think what he meant was, anything we do will probably already have been done in some capactiy before, but still! I can’t imagine being a graphic designer and having that be your perspective. The only ideas I’m interested in are the new ones.
